L’Angle, winner in 2008 of a Michelin star, was created with the aim of providing our clients with a full sensory experience, such as we enjoy every day in our work. As well as ensuring that you receive a warm welcome and attentive service, we also seek to reveal the secrets of our recipes and to redefine the understanding of gastronomy.

Inspired by memory, creativity, and the products he uses, Jordi Cruz creates an ever-changing menu which combines the traditional and the modern. This young chef has taken part in many contests, winning — amongst others — the championship round of “Jóvenes Chefs de España” (“Young Chefs of Spain”) at “Lo Mejor de la Gastronomía” (“The Best of Gastronomy”) in 2002; first prize in the international competition for cooking with olive oil, “Jaén, Paraíso Interior” (“Jaen, Inland Paradise”) at the same fair the following year; and “Cocinero del año” (“Cook of the Year”) at ‘Restaurama~ Alimentaria’ (2006-2007). In 2004, at the age of 26, he was awarded a Michelin star at the Estany Clar restaurant in Berga.

The results of his rapid professional rise can be seen in his first book, Cocina con lógica (Cooking With Logic) (2005), where he gives a detailed overview of techniques and concepts, seen from his uniquely logical perspective. Here, he shows us how to follow new paths and create our own style. He also gives his own interpretation of the work of other chefs.

Open midday from Tuesday to Sunday, and evenings on Friday and Saturday. Other evenings by arrangement only.
