Summer 1924. The family of the painter, Ramon Casas, is arriving today to spend summer at St Benet, now a fantastic summer residence remodelled in the Modernist style. After two decades of work, the Monastery is a stimulating place: fully furnished and with an impressive collection of decorative arts, it has been converted into a romantic hide-away, surrounded by beautiful scented gardens.
On this first day of summer, we privileged visitors will cross the upper cloister and go into Ramon Casas’s apartment. Music, light, images, aromas... will lead us through the different rooms, as we enjoy this evocative and sensitive experience.
