Visits to the architectural areas of the monastery

Visits without museographical element

Món Sant Benet gives you the chance to see the architectural areas of the monastery, without the museographical element. These visits are accompanied by a guide and cover the same areas as the museum-based tours, but without the interactive audiovisual element.

Mediaeval area

This guided tour of the most notable areas of the monastery covers the late 12th-century church, the crypt, where the atmosphere is suggestive of the cloister, and the mysterious atmosphere of the cellar and the midday galleries. Enjoy a veritable journey into our historical origins.

Duration of the visit: 1 hour 15 minutes.

Accessibility:

Accessible tour for people with reduced mobility. There are two wheel chairs at the disposal of visitors.

Modernist area

Take a guided tour of the place where, from 1907, the artist, Ramon Casas, and his family had their holiday home. A Modernist’s dream — richly coloured, with leaded windows, stables, and a wide array of collectors’ pieces — it also embodies the luxury and abundance typical of the early 20th Century.

Duration of the visit: 45 minutes.
